You may be noticing that your body feels different in ways that are hard to explain.
Are you dealing with disrupted sleep, mood changes, brain fog, irregular cycles, weight changes, or new digestive symptoms that seem to come out of nowhere? As a doctor who specializes in Perimenopause & Menopause, I provide personalized, evidence-based care to help you understand what’s happening and what your options are, including menopausal hormone therapy and integrative support.
Do Any of These Sound Familiar?
What Is Menopausal Hormone Therapy?
Menopausal hormone therapy is one of the most effective tools we have for treating symptoms like hot flashes, sleep disruption, mood changes, and brain fog during perimenopause and menopause. It typically includes estrogen, and often progesterone to protect the uterine lining.
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. The right type, dose, and delivery method depends on your symptoms, your stage of transition, your health history, and your preferences. My role is to help you understand your options clearly and decide what feels like the right fit for you.
I work with women who are navigating:
Perimenopause and menopause
Irregular or changing cycles
Symptoms that don’t quite “show up” on standard labs
Concerns about metabolic health and body composition changes
Feeling dismissed or told everything is normal
Worsening gut symptoms like bloating, reflux, or constipation during hormone shifts

Not always. While lab testing can provide helpful data, your symptoms and health history play a big role in determining whether Hormone Therapy is appropriate.

I do not accept insurance but offer flexible payment plans and accept HSA/FSA cards.
Prescription hormones may be covered by insurance; however, I do not verify insurance coverage, and it is up to you to verify your personal policy coverage.

That’s okay, we have other options! If Hormone Therapy isn’t the right fit, we can explore nutritional, herbal, and lifestyle-based strategies to help you feel your best through perimenopause, menopause, or postmenopause.
Hormones and Gut Health
Many women notice that their digestion changes during perimenopause. Bloating, reflux, constipation, and food sensitivities can become more noticeable as hormone levels shift.
In my practice, I often address gut health alongside hormone balance, because the two are closely connected. Supporting digestion, the microbiome, and inflammation can make a meaningful difference in how you feel during this transition.
